There will be a 5th installment of the Fast and Furious franchise working title: Fast 5

We will see some familiar faces Vin Diesel (Dominic “Dom” Toretto), Paul Walker (Brian O’Conner), Jordana Brewster (Mia Toretto), Tyrese Gibson (Roman Pierce), Sung Kang (Han), Matt Schulze (Vince), & Ludacris (Tej). Also returning are some reggaeton artist that only made cameos in some of the other fast and furious movies Don Omar (Rico), and Tego Calderon (Tego). New faces to the franchise will be Dwayne “the rock” Johnson (Hobbs), and female hotties Gal Gadot (Gisele), Elsa Pataky (Elena Neves). Returning as director is Justin Lin. Fast 5 will be set in Brazil

From Vin Diesel’s Facebook: “Had a meeting with Justin Lin today regarding the Fast saga… some daring but fascinating thoughts in terms of action set pieces… and relationships, old and new.The team is on their way to Brazil this evening, to scout, and to see what selection of cars there are.”

The latest film creation of Robert Rodriguez. You have probably seen some of Robert’s other films such as Desperado, From Dusk Till Dawn, Sin City (Guest Director), but most recent and relevant is his Grindhouse film (Planet Terror). Machete was initially a fake trailer included in Grindhouse 3 years ago but has now fruition-ed into its own feature film.

If you have seen any of Robert Rodriguez film’s you have undoubtibly noticed his cheesy ’70s flare, that have turned his films into instant cult classics. Machete does not fall short and if you like his style you will love this film.

It is packed with action and big name stars such as Machete (Danny Trejo), an evil crime boss (a bloated Steven Seagal), oily businessman (Jeff Fahey), a racist politician (Robert De Niro), a sexy federal agent (Jessica Alba), a fiery female revolutionary (Michelle Rodriguez), the businessman’s daughter, a drugged-up mess (Lindsay Lohan), who may or may not have read the script before her brief topless scene. However, for those eager to see LiLo in a nun’s outfit blowing bad guys away, this is your movie.

Synopsis

After a violent shakedown from a notorious drug lord nearly kills him, Machete, a renegade Mexican Federale and tough–as–nails vigilante for justice, roams the streets of Texas, working as a day laborer. When Machete is hired by a crooked US Senator to execute a covert hit, Machete is double–crossed and forced to run from the cops and an endless stream of assassins. But what they don’t know is that Machete is looking for them so he can settle the score.

1. Fill two or more shot glasses with the Kahlua and vodka and place a slice of orange on the top of each glass.

2012 Mercedes CLS debuts at Paris Motor Show

Mercedes-Benz has just unveiled the first images and video of the new Mercedes-Benz CLS, which will be presented at the Paris Salon in early October. We can expect more engine details to be revealed once the 2012 CLS-Class debuts at the Paris motor show which runs October 2 – 17, 2010.

The new and improved Mercedes CLS brings a more full-bodied design, with an emphasis on the front end, with its (Audi inspired) headlight assembly composed of LEDs, and exclusive interior refinement. After the preview in the French capital, the news must reach the European market in the second half. According to Mercedes, even with the reformulation, the model did not miss the essence deployed since its creation in 2004.

The four-door coupe was much like the concept shown in sculpture form earlier this year at the Detroit Motor Show.The engine family shall be composed of two diesel engines, a 250 CDI with 201 horsepower and a 350 CDI with 261 hp. There will also be two gasoline options, a 3.5-liter V6 with 301 hp and another 4.7 liter V8 of 429 hp, which will be the AMG option. New technology on the CLS-Class includes the (Audi inspired) LED headlamps, which feature a total of 71 individual lights.

The car lights are split into three sections, with the upper set forming the turn indicator, the middle serving as a low beam side light which also works when the high beams are on. There are the headlights themselves which do the night lighting.

CLS’s competitors are: Aston Martin Rapide, the Porsche Panamera, Audi A7 and the Volkswagen CC.

The Stig has been revealed, then fired!!!

Breaking News:

According to the British tabloids, The Stig was fired from Top Gear. In the light of the recent events, with The Stig, a.k.a. Ben Collins, looking to publish his autobiography, various sources are reporting that the show’s producers had to let him go. Recently, more and more rumors are suggesting that one of the people under the white racing suit of The Stig is professional driver Ben Collins. There is a lot of evidence pointing to him, including some of his company’s financial statements. Currently, BBC and the Top Gear producers are fighting a legal battle against a publishing company which is looking to put Stig’s autobiography on the book stands.

Apparently, all the attention Ben Collins is receiving is bad for the show, so they had to fire him. The same sources say Top Gear has already found a replacement for The Stig.

This is all rumors at the moment, and none of this has been confirmed by the BBC , nor by Top Gear.

Orange County Choppersor other wise known as OCC is a manufacturerof custom motorcycles in Orange County, New York. It was founded in 1999 by Paul Teutul Sr and his son Paul Teutul Jr. As a custom motorcycle manufacturer, they have found fame and fortune after Discovery Channel aired them in American Chopper, a reality TV series showing the father and son buildingcustom made motorcycles for their customers. Viewers loved the constant bickering of the father and son as well as the crew and they have made some very unique but functional motorcycles that could almost be considered works of art.

There have been some up’s and down’s with the staff of Orange County Choppers such as Mike Campo who was able to leave on good terms. Vincent DiMartino and Cody Connelly also left and they created V Force Customs which is near Orange County Choppers. Paul Teutul Jr however was fired in late 2008 without much elaboration of the incident. Paul Teutul Sr. tried to buy out the shares of Paul Jr which made up 20% of the company and there is even a case ongoing while the value of Orange County Choppers is evaluated.

In April 2010, after a year of non-compete clause stipulated on the contract, Paul Jr. was able to start his own new motorcycle design company. Of course TLC, sister channel of Discovery, has approached Paul Jr and Paul Sr and commissioned “American Chopper: Senior vs Junior” the 7th series of the popular reality TV show. Viewers are excited at how the father and son will compete with each other.

Randy Couture wins over James Toney!!!

Couture looks as relaxed as can be, smiling in the cage. Toney a bit more tense, pacing back and forth. He’s got ankle wraps on both feet. The two touch gloves before the opening bell.

Round 1: Toney’s on the ground in 15 seconds. Couture straight to mount. He usually prefers side control. The crowd chants “UFC! UFC!” Couture lands hard strikes from the top. Toney is so wide that Couture has a tough time staying on top, but he takes him to the cage. Still in full mount. Toney’s survived midway through. Couture goes to the arm triangle. Toney survives that too. Couture is still on top. It’s one-sided but Toney survives. Couture goes back to the arm triangle. This time he advances position and locks it in, and Toney taps out.

Winner: Randy Couture via arm triangle choke, Rd. 1

Absolute Summer

1 1/2 oz Absolut Citron Vodka
3/4 oz Sweet and Sour mix
1/2 oz Sprite soda
3 oz soda water
1 slice of lemon

Add all ingredients except lemon to shaker filled with ice. Cover and shake vigorously. Strain contents into ice filled collins glass. Garnish with lemon. *note* A great summer refresher. Shaking and straining the drink makes it frothy. This drink is also good when you need to ‘wet your whistle’. A good first drink of the afternoon or evening.

Finally, M3 GTS at Nurburgring!

Various sources are reporting today that the record BMW M3 GTS Nurburgring lap time has been set to 7 minutes and 48 seconds. The BMW M3 GTS Nurburgring lap time has not been officially confirmed by the German carmaker, but if it’s real, it means the GTS is the fastest BMW production model to ever run around the Nurburgring. The time is two seconds faster that the 2003 BMW M3 CSL.

The BMW M3 GTS is powered by a 4,361 cc V8 engine that develops 444 hp at 8,300 rpm and 440 Nm of torque at 3,750 rpm. This means that a standard M3 is 30 hp short of BMW M3 GTS’s output. The official performance figures say the M3 GTS needs only 4.3 seconds to reach 60 mph and that it has a top speed of 190 mph.

Having a firmed up chassis, weighing 150 lbs. less than the M3, and costing $120,000 without taxes, the hope was that the BMW M3 GTS would fare better on the Ring. It did do fairly well in Hockenheim, where its 1m 12.5s time even beat the Ferrari F430.

The 24-year-old star of Transformers already models for Armani in its jeans advertisements. “Mr. Armani is an iconic visionary for all things fashion. I’m honored to be associated with him and this campaign,” Fox said in a recent interview. She will appear in the make-up ads starting in October. “Megan embodies the spirit of the women of today. …Her beautiful features reveal femininity, sensuality, and strength,” Armani said of his choice.

Review:

Caught this movie this weekend and I loved it. And if you were a fan of the latest “Rambo”, then you will be a fan of this movie as well. It is a total guy movie with lots and LOTS of action and little story, just enough story so that you didn’t feel it lacked any. So in short if you have not watched this yet go now.

Synopsis:

“The Expendables” is a hard-hitting action/thriller about a group of mercenaries hired to infiltrate a South American country and overthrow its ruthless dictator. Once the mission begins, the men realize things aren’t quite as they appear, finding themselves caught in a dangerous web of deceit and betrayal. 2010 Bentley Continental GT Supersports

The Continental GT is not a sports car. Nor is the Continental Supersports. Nevertheless, both Bentleys do things that only sports cars can do, and the Supersports does some of them more quickly – like 0 to 60 in 3.7 seconds. The difference is in how they do it. In our review of the GTC Speed, we wrote that it achieves these feats by taking the goddess of physics hostage, forcing her to obey. Bentley should be commended for engineering a 5,182-pound beast to perform such feats at all, but it remains an act of coercion.

In the GTC Speed, though, the driver is separated from all that imperative violence by multiple layers of sound deadening, carpeting, wood and leather. If you really pay attention, you can catch a soupcon of the brute force wizardry being conducted somewhere in the Bentley’s deathly hallows, but why would you? There are 1,100 distracting watts of Naim audio to command the ears and a woman named Katerina or Genevieve or Summer in the front seat to command everything else.

The Supersports, on the other hand, requests your attention. Why? While the conversion to being a high-po ethanol coupe does involve more electro-mechanical magic, it’s primarily achieved the old fashioned way: less weight and more power.

A 243-pound reduction from a 5,000-pound car isn’t much – 4.86 percent, to be exact – but the Supersports drops weight in the right places. Unsprung mass has been reduced by 66 pounds with the addition of carbon-ceramic brakes and lightweight wheels, while the chassis gives up 20 pounds and the elimination of the rear seats, replacement of the wood with carbon fiber trim and the fitment of those carbon fiber seats nixes nearly 160 pounds. But a strict diet isn’t the only regime Bentley put the Supersports on.

Output is up to 621 horsepower at 6,000 rpm – another 21 hp over the GTC Speed – thanks to an increase in boost pressure, with torque goosed (or would that be ‘swanned’) from 553 foot-pounds to 590 ft-lb at 2,250 rpm, making this “extreme Bentley” the most powerful model to wear The Flying B. Your new corn-fed top speed: 204 miles per hour. An even better stat: you can get from 50 to 70 mph in 2.1 seconds.

As for Bentley’s flex-fuel plan, engineers hardened the valve seats, altered the gaskets and performed some sensors-and-software work to accommodate gasoline, E85, or any blend of the two. Power is calibrated to be the same no matter which fuel is used, despite ethanol’s higher octane.

And then, there’s the price — solidly in the if-you-have-to-ask range. The Bentley Continental GT Supersports will sell for nearly $280,000 when it goes on sale this year.
