All wheel drive, turbo’d, blow off valve, spool, pssssh, fast, furious and fun…these are words not normally attributed to electric vehicles, until now.
Mitsubishi has confirmed that 2014 Evolution XI models will be hybrids. No, that is not a typo, yes that says HYBRIDS, as in gas and electric.
According to Osamu Masuk, President of Mitsubishi Motors, “We will start work on the project next year, and it will be ready within three. I have set the goal of developing a sporting car featuring electric power.”
At the moment, this is the only information Masuko is offering. There have been rumblings that the new model could feature a diesel motor to help with emissions (U.S.), but it won’t be cheap. Some purist will be against the idea of a legendary car going green while others may embrace the idea of extended gas mileage with a little turbo and all wheel drive fun. The only thing we can say for certain at this time is that it will be a hybrid and it will probably be expensive.

First it was Nick Diaz vs. Georges St. Pierre for the Welterweight Title at UFC 137 in Las Vegas. Then Diaz failed to help promote his fight and was pulled from it and put into a non title fight with BJ Penn. UFC President Dana White then choose Carlos “The Killer” Condit as Diaz’ replacement and declared that it would be Condit vs. GSP for the Welterweight Title. Well now it looks like UFC 137 will have to change their main event again.
Due to a knee injury sustained while training on October 18th, Georges St. Pierre has officially withdrawn from his fight with Carlos Condit. Dana White confirmed the news on his Official Twitter account.
Instead of replacing GSP in the main event title fight, the fight itself has been dropped from the card and will be rescheduled when GSP is able to train and compete. According to GSP’s head trainer Firas Zahabi, GSP will be out at least a month, although the exact extent of the injury and recovery time is still unknown.
With GSP vs. Condit being dropped off the UFC 137 fight card, Nick Diaz vs. BJ Penn has been pushed into the main event spotlight. Despite being a main event, the fight will remain at 3 rounds as Dana White stated “they haven’t trained for five rounds.”
APPLE has announced that Steve Jobs, at age 56 has died. In 2004, a cancerous tumor in Jobs’ pancreas was successfully removed. After his operation he continued to struggle with his health and revelaed that his disease was more complicated than he thought. In 2009, he received a successful liver transplant but it would only buy him so much time. After years of failing health, the former Apple CEO left his position on August 24th, 2011. As he left, Jobs stated.
“I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come.”
Apple has released the following statement:
“Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being.
Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.”
Look who got a new toy? And it’s not black…The reality starlette, Kim Kardashian, purchased a brand new Ferrari 458 Italia from Platinum Motorsport in L.A. for around $325,000. She was seen cruising around in it the other day in Los Angeles and of course, pictures were taken.
You can add this to the list of things that a Sex Tape could possibly buy you. But in order to do that, the first requirement is to be attractive and some what famous. Or, you can be like her family and become famous off her coat tails. Whatever works!

Stella Rossa ll Conte D’Alba
One of the things that I most look forward to on the weekends is a nice glass of wine. A few weeks ago, I came across a new wine at a local spirits store called Stella Rosa. It turned out that my selection was one of the top rated wines in the store and was a great red wine. The Stella Rosa ll Conte D’Alba cost around $11.99 and tasted far better than most wines three times it’s cost. When I opened the bottle, my nose was instantly filled with the fragrance of roses. The wine is sweet to taste, goes well with fruits and cheeses, but it must be chilled first. It’s no surprise that it’s of such great quality, it’s from the Piedmont region of Italy, where numerous high quality wines come from. Take my word for it, you won’t be disappointed.
