The Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach is an open-wheel race held on a street circuit in Long Beach, California. The Long Beach Grand Prix is the longest running major “street” race held on the North American continent.

America’s #1 street race is a three-day festival of speed that features six races headlined by the IZOD IndyCar Series, plus concerts, a Lifestyle Expo. It started in 1975 as a Formula 5000 race on the streets of downtown, and became a Formula One event the following year. From 1984 to 2008 it was a CART/Champ Car event. Other popular events during the Grand Prix week include a Firestone Indy Lights race, an American Le Mans Series race, and the Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race.
Nate Dogg Dies at 41
BREAKING NEWS: After suffering from two strokes since 2007, Long Beach Rap Legend, Nate Dogg aka Nathaniel Hale has died at 41 years old. On Tuesday, March 15th, 2011, his family announced his death. Born and raised in Long Beach, Nate rose to fame by providing hooks for Dr. Dre, Eminem, Warren G and Snoop Dogg among countless other artists. While not known for his individual solo success, Nate was considered one of the greatest hook men in the business. According to Nate Dogg’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, Nate died due to complications from his multiple strokes.
There have been many rumors of Nate’s passing in the past, but this appears to be legitimate. Rumors swirled in 2007 when he suffered his first stroke, then again in 2008 when he suffered a second stroke. Since 2008, he had been recovering slowly from the ill effects of the strokes in a recovery home. The official annoucement was made on the Long Beach Press Telegram.

Saturday 17,2010 was a great night for Lamborghini Energy Drink. Making the event one of a kind was the Lamborghini Club of Los Angeles, DJ XCILIS with his own brand of mash-up hits, Teteo Tequila, and of course our gorgeous EvilStar Girls!!! The turn out was great with numerous Lamborghini’s in attendance, lots of beautiful women, and plenty of Lamborghini Energy getting mixed with Teteo Tequila. Thanks to all for making it a night to remember.
