For the first time since the 90s, BMW will return and take part in the DTM series once again. To do that, BMW has revealed their M3 DTM Concept Car for the 2012 DTM season series. This may not be the final design, but it will be awfully close.
Behind the wheel will be Andy Priaulx and Augusto Farfus. This M3 DTM comes with a 4.0 liter V8 engine with an air restrictor. The air restrictor allows the M3 DTM to stay within DTM regulations while being at approximately 480bhp.

Height: Approx. 1,200mm (depending on suspension set-up)
Chassis/Bodywork: CFRP monocoque with steel roll cage structure
Transmission: Sequential 6-speed gearbox
Engine type: V8
Capacity: 4,000ccm (4.0 Liter)
Max. power output: Approx. 480bhp (air restricted as per DTM regulations)

Lamborghini Sesto Elemento (Italian for Sixth Element) Concept Revealed
– All Wheel Drive
– V10 Power Plant
– e.Gear Transmission
– 2200 lbs
– 570 hp
– 0-62 mph in 2.5 seconds
– A LOT of Carbon Fiber
This new concept is an extremely lightweight carbon fiber sensation that provides high performance and handling that Lamborghini is known for. With it’s lightweight and power to weight ratio of 1.75 kilograms per horsepower, the Sesto Elemento offers unmatched power and handling seen in the world of super cars.
BMW has announced the world premier of the concept for its new 6 Series concept coupe at the 2010 Paris Motor Show Oct. 12 – 17.
Judging from the preview photos, the new coupe still retains some of those classic hallmarks that make a BMW coupe (stretched hood, short front overhang, a low silhouette with a swooped roofline). The concept has a lower silhouette and a tighter rear end, giving it a sportier visual feel.
BMW says the 2+2-seater will have full-LED, adaptive headlights and a newly designed, freestanding control display for the iDrive operating system. It has a full-glass roof, Bang & Olufsen sound and the driver-oriented cockpit (instrument panel, electronics).
The best part is where most “concept” cars never see the light of day, what you are looking at is a concept car in name only. Now while we like this concept over the current 6 series and it is a definite step in the right direction. We would have liked a little more, lets hope the next time they take a leap instead of just a step. What are your thoughts?
